Dr. Zain Alsharif Alzaabi is an analytical, adaptable, and model builder individual with 30+ years of experience in Economics and Labour Market policies. He holds 3 degrees in Economics from national  and international institutions. He has done extensive work in building Economic models.

He has worked in various capacities in the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs /MOHRE, including as Deputy Director of Labour Department, Director of Labour Department, and Director of National Employment Department. He has also worked in the International Labour Organization (in Geneva, Switzerland 1993-1996). In addition, he has worked in the capacity of Director of Labour Standards and Policies Department. Further, he has served as a Director of the Labour Market Information and Studies Department in the Ministry of Labour (MOHRE), Dubai, UAE. In addition, he has worked as an Economic Consultant in MOHRE (during the period 2017-2022).
